What is counselling?
Counselling can provide a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns. It’s a space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so that you can develop a better understanding of yourself and those around you.
What does this mean?
As your counsellor, I will not give you my opinion or advice. Instead, I work alongside you to find your own solutions. This might include making changes, or it might be finding different, more productive ways of coping with the issues that you may be struggling to cope with, or make sense of.
Is counselling right for me?
Do you feel that day-to-day life is becoming exhausting or overwhelming? Do you feel anxious a lot of the time, have low mood, relationship difficulties or low self-esteem?
